Derby Days is a national tradition in the Sigma Chi fraternity. It began in 1933 at the Alpha Beta chapter at the University of California-Berkely and quickly gained momentum at other chapters.
Today, the Gamma Phi chapter hosts an annual Derby Days fundraiser. All seven sororities on campus compete to raise money for our nationally designated charity, The Children's Miracle Fund. The majority of the tournament is held at our house, on our volleyball court. It includes a live DJ and sponsorships from local businesses.
